Web developer - HTML & CSS Guru required ***POSITION CLOSED***
HostQuarters is looking for an individual who enjoys coding html & css using DIVs and not Tables.
We've currently got quite a bit of work on so our requirement is short term contracts but hoping that the work continues HostQuarters should be able to offer a steady stream of work to the right person.

Additionally, HostQuarters has a 'can do' attitude. This means that we enjoy a variety of development work as we do not pigeon hole ourselves into churning out standard websites. 'We can do anything'... so long as our clients budget permits.
HostQuarters utilises open source technology, developing these and then giving back to the community to further develop software. Any developer wishing to produce work for HostQuarters must embrace this philosophy.

With 'service being everything', the successful applicant will have excellent telephone skills and be able to write documentation and emails without grammatical errors.
It is essential that you can handwrite html and css (in notepad if necessary).
It would be beneficial if you can produce javascript to add dynamic effects to web pages.
The work will typically comprise of converting a design into an html and css template. Photoshop PSDs will be given and an index.html page and a css will be required.
The page will need to be tested in Firefox2, IE 6 & 7 on XP or Vista.
The right person will be expected to be able to complete work on their own (with some assistance when required) from HostQuarters' office.
HostQuarters will agree a price for the whole job with the candidate prior to work commencing. The price is usually based on an estimate of the hours it should take an experienced developer x $20
